It's particularly interesting to allow music to generate itself like it was a living organism of some sort, and the album "the inflationary epoch" drinks from that, resulting in very different live versions from the original recorded tracks.
After one year of having the album out, I decided to self release the alterations of some of the pieces I always play in my live shows because I feel that the material present in the record sometimes fails to fully reproduce the movement and change that I was trying to portray.

The first piece "the inflationary epoch - alternative version", is a rendition of the studio version I wrote specifically for my live performances, exploring the potential of each melodic pattern and how they play with each other.

The second and third tracks, were recorded live during my show at Passos Manuel in Porto, in April 2023.

The last piece "recall" is the sister track of "apophenia". Its nature comes from the very same foundation, but it is interpreted in a very different light. Almost like it's the other side of the coin. It's intended to represent hope, or the peaceful feeling one can feel walking in the beach, whereas "apophenia" was born in the middle of the city noise, the chaos, and the excitement that brings.
